Senior Bid Estimator, Tender

Responsibilities

  • Reviews tender documents/requests for proposals to understand project details and requirements
  • Reviews and interprets engineering documentation such as drawings/specifications/scope of works to fully understand the project requirements for detailed and accurate estimating
  • Provides detailed and accurate quantity and component take-offs against the technical drawings, specifications and scope of work documentation
  • Study and identify discrepancies in tender/contract documents and raise queries for clarifications
  • To provides timely clarifications for ongoing submission within the tender and request for proposal duration
  • Compilation of quotations, comparison of quotes, review of prices ·
  • To do costing in our bids for projects
  • To prepare the cost estimation and tender summary for management review
  • Manage Pre-Tender to post contract stages
  • Communicates and negotiates competitive rates with Suppliers and Sub-contractors
  • Provides costing data and input into the proposal formats required by the tender documentation
  • Acts as a mentor to other junior quantity surveyors of the Team

Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying/Building or equivalent is preferable
  • Above 5 years of cost estimating experience
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Preferably with someone who can start work immediately or short notice

Architectural Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Review, prepare, liaise, co-ordinate, discuss and resolve with Clients, Consultants, project team members and Subcontractors for projects specifications, project management, technical issues
  • Coordinate all architectural drawings and works, prepare, submit and update shop drawings & As-Built submission
  • Carry out works scheduling, material requisition, cost control, project supervision and documentation and ensure timely and smooth progress of works
  • Ensure quality of works is achieved and safety regulations are complied with

Requirements

  • Diploma in Architecture or equivalent with at least 2 years working experience in building or construction projects
  • Good knowledge in architectural co-ordination works
  • Good Planning Skills
  • Proficient in AutoCAD
  • Organized, highly motivated and independent with excellent team spirit and interpersonal skills
  • Able to lead and work independently
Technical Bid Design Manager, Structural

Responsibilities

  • Solving engineering challenges using extensive detailed design experience and knowledge of the relevant design codes & CDM requirements
  • Reviewing design information issued at the tender design stage, highlighting any commercial risks to the business
  • Identifying any outstanding information required at tender stage for the construction work cost estimation
  • Arrange and/or attend design team meetings, as required
  • Manage external design teams, ensuring deadlines, quality and design budgets are met
  • Monitor design changes, design budget and deviation from original scope and feedback the changes to tender department
  • Liaise closely with client's design team to pro-actively resolve any design issues
  • Support project teams with Engineering, to resolve any design/detail/construction problems quickly and as required
  • Attend Design Team Meeting with tender and project management team at tender design stage and project development stage
  • Responsible for structural design planning & coordination with client/consultant
  • Coordination with the various consultant team to resolve discrepancies and technical issues
  • Providing design and technical support / resolution to site queries / issues over the duration of Construction, as and when required

Requirements

  • Must have an engineering background with a degree in Structural Engineering – BEng, MEng or MSc
  • 5 years and above experience in design and detailing of RC structures
  • Excellent knowledge of construction methods and regulations
  • Well experience in Building for residential and mixed-use projects, or industrial warehouse design experience would be preferred

Technical Bid Design Manager, Architectural

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for architectural design planning & coordination with client/consultant for the Operational and Design Briefs
  • Coordination with the Architect, Structural design team and M&E design team to resolve discrepancies and technical issues
  • Assist in advising the Contractor and Clients on Architectural related matters, such as space planning, layout, architectural design, statutory code compliance issues/implications and other technical issues
  • Assist in managing the design and coordination process throughout design and development phases and ensure the resolution of design and technical coordination issues
  • Develop ideas keeping in mind client’s needs, building’s usage and environmental impact
  • Coordinate with the Project Management & Tender Bid teams to develop the project scope and design schedule
  • Assist in providing Architectural and technical advice during tender review.
  • Manage and review of all Sub-Contractors’ submissions, including material/sample submissions, method statements, shop drawings, etc.
  • Managing Design Consultants’ required responses during tender and construction Administration phase
  • Providing design and technical support / resolution to site queries / issues over the duration of Construction, as and when required

Requirements

  • Degree in Architectural Engineering, with minimum 5 years’ design experience
  • Well experience in Building for residential and mixed-use projects, or industrial warehouse design experience would be preferred
  • Good presentation and IT skills, including being proficient in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, revit AutoCAD, Lumion or other 3D rendering software
  • Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • With practical knowledge in the Construction industry
  • Good organization, coordination and leadership skills
  • Good knowledge in local statutory codes and authority submission/application procedures
Site Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of site contractors
  • Monitor job progress and ensure that civil contracted works meets all practical, commercial, requirements of productivity, quality and contract target completions
  • Ensure all Structural work is carried out within established budgets and schedules
  • Ensure all design work conforms to the codes and standards used by the client, or to agreed industry standards
  • Implement and oversee site projects assigned to ensure smooth project execution
  • Manage internal and external contractors well to ensure quality of work and scope of work is within specifications
  • To coordinate with subcontractors/suppliers to execute contract works
  • Responsible for all inspection activities being carried out
  • Assist in planning, schedule and technical support to PM

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers Board Singapore
  • Min 2 years relevant experience (building construction projects)
  • Use of Autocad would be an advantage
  • Fresh graduate are also welcome to apply
M&E Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate M&E works in Building Construction
  • Resolving site issues and problems
  • Assists the project team in ensuring the aspect if M&E complies with the tender/clients specification and all standards and regulations
  • Ensuring scheduled work / task complete

Requirements

  • Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering or Certificate in M&E Coordination
  • At least 3 years working experience in construction site environment
  • Proficient in the application of AutoCAD / IBM
  • Possess good interpersonal skills and excellent team spirit
  • Singaporean / Singapore PR is preferred
Quantity Surveyor (Project)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare budget & cost control monitoring
  • Prepare, evaluate and recommend on the award of Sub-contractors
  • Assist Project Manager in all contractual and costing matters
  • Verify and certify sub-contractors' / supplier monthly progressive claims, VO & finalize account
  • Submit of monthly progress claim, VO & final account with consultants/ clients

Requirements

  • Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying / Building or equivalent
  • At lease 3 years of relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Building or Construction work
  • Experience in estimation is strongly encouraged to apply
  • BIM knowledge will have advantage
  • Able to work independently under minimum supervision
 
Accountant

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of finance department
  • Supervision of Accounts Executive
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarterly/half-yearly and full year closing to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
  • Responsible for Group consolidation and analysis on consolidated numbers
  • Review Group and subsidiaries' financial statements to ensure compliance with applicable corporate and statutory reporting requirements
  • Responsible for preparation of SGX announcements and deliverables to the Board Committees
  • Responsible for preparation of the Group Annual Report and co-ordinate with external auditors on issues
  • Responsible for preparation of the Group budget
  • Responsible for review of tax computations of the Group and its subsidiaries and co-ordinate with tax agent
  • Co-ordinate and assist in the preparation of Group annual budget and forecasts
  • Assist in co-ordination with external auditor, internal auditor, corporate secretary, tax agent and other consultants as and when necessary
  • Establish, review and improve accounting policies and internal controls
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects and corporate actions as and when necessary

    To succeed in this role, you need to have prior audit and commercial experience in an SGX-listed company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accountancy or ACCA equivalent
  • At least 3-5 years' working experience in group consolidation and reporting in listed companies
  • Familiar with SGX compliance requirements and corporate governance
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Prior audit experience is preferred
  • Strong analytical mind, meticulous, initiator and ability to meet tight deadlines
